Believing in the fact there is no substitute for quality, TATA has been vigorously trying to put in all its effort to improve the quality of its products at every stage of the entire process. To begin with we start right at the early stages when cotton bales start coming in the factory premises.
TATA has the privilege to be the first in Pakistan to Use HVI USTER Bale Management system for Cotton Mixing purpose. This helps in feeding the cotton with consistent quality on daily basis and thus helps to set the processes accordingly.
Contamination Control System:
Manual picking ( contamination removal Department):
Hundreds of female workers have been entrusted with the responsibility of cleaning the cotton masses manually so that maximum quantity of contamination is removed at a very early stage. With "one bale one worker " policy, TATA has managed to improve its foreign matter picking from 80-85 gms /bale to 105-110 gms /bales within last six months.
Lattice picking ( Blow Room):
The partially cleaned cotton is spread on a lattice where remaining foreign matters are picked manually. This ensures a better cleaned cotton to be fed to our system.
Rieter " Vision Shield": Our Blow Room is equipped with two units Rieter Vision Shield, an electronically managed computerized system which removes remaining foreign matters in the cotton before passing it to the Carding Department.
Quantum Yarn Clearers: All autoconers installed at TATA are equipped with Uster Quantum Clearers with full production passing through c-channel/f-channel( siro-cleared). It has been recently upgraded to Yellow LEDs specially developed by Uster for Pakistani Cotton.
In addition, our lab are equipped with most modern state of the art testing equipments which include Uster HVI Spectrum(2002), Uster AFIS Pro(2002) and Uster Tester-4 (2000). THE QUALITY MONITORING SYSTEM ADOPTED IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN CONSISTENT QUILITY OF YARN WITH THE HELP OF AFIS, UT-4, CONE EXPERT SYSTEM. This helps us to keep the quality within the 'Tolerance Limit'
Our Truztschler Drawing Frames equipped with 'Auto-levelers ensures most consistent yarn results with excellent I.P.I. values resulting in exquisite fabric feel.
Our specially adjusted "Quantum Yarn Clearers on Auto-Winders reduce the numbers of thin and thick places and Neps in our yarn.
We have adjusted our T.P.I. in such a way that the fabric feel, luster made of TATA yarn are always immaculate.
- Our yarns are free from bars and dead fibre.
- No variation in I.P.I., CV% or CLSP.
Our effort to produce a contamination free yarn with Pakistani Cotton is no more a far cry. We will achieve it soon. We have already come a long way in producing high quality yarn for high end user. With focus on producing knitting yarn, we have succeeded in producing yarn which is unique in the sense that it consumes less dye for dyeing whether Yarn dyeing or fabric dyeing. This makes our yarn more economical for our valued customers.
